What we collect

• Your name, email, phone number and country.
• Your delivery address, for book orders.
• What you bought and when, and the licence you chose.
• Basic technical data such as your browser and IP address, to run the site and prevent fraud.

Signing in

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code that we email to you.

Payment details

You pay through the secure link in your invoice. Payments are processed by our bank. We do not store card numbers or PINs.

Your account

Your account keeps your name, email, phone number, company, orders, downloads and documents, such as invoices, receipts and licence certificates. You can ask us to close the account and delete this data.

Licence checks

The public page that a licence certificate's QR code opens shows the certificate number, the product, the licence type and the date, so that others can check the licence is genuine.

Who we share data with

• Courier companies, for book deliveries: your name, phone and address.
• Our bank, to process payments and check for fraud.
• The services that host this website and send our emails.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your data.

Your rights

Ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing info@baobabonline.net. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Office of Uganda.

Storage in your browser

This site keeps your cart in your own browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
